Attorney at Law
David Voeller joined the Voeller Law Firm in 2011, and is among the less than 1% of Texas attorneys who are Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
At the Voeller Law Firm David’s primary areas of focus include Estate Planning, Probate, and Elder Law, which includes Medicaid and V.A. Benefits planning and asset protection.
If asked, David will tell you that he loves the area of law he practices because it gives him the opportunity to help families plan for, preserve, and pass on a legacy. “I see so many people neglect to make a plan, and in the end, the only legacy they leave their family is stress, conflict, and broken relationships. I help people plan so they can instead leave a positive legacy for those they love. I feel like I get to do God’s work everyday.”
After earning his undergraduate degree from Excelsior College in Albany, New York, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in General Business, David then attended law school at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. While attending St. Mary’s, he earned membership in the International Legal Fraternity of Phi Delta Phi for academic achievement, and was a Dean’s List student before graduating with his Doctor of Jurisprudence in 2011.
David currently lives in Garden Ridge, Texas, with his wife and four children, volunteers at Hillside Fellowship Church in Spring Branch, and enjoys flying, (he’s an instrument rated pilot) hunting, archery, and any type of outdoor adventure.
